What are the best-frozen veggie burgers? I have 3 favorites I want to share with you, so the next time you are craving a delicious veggie burger, you already have them available on hand in your freezer.
These 3 brands are the absolute Best Veggie Burgers Frozen I always highly recommend to all of my friends and family.
Best Veggie Burgers Frozen – 3 Amazing Brands!
The first veggie burger I ate was from a fast-food restaurant called Harvey’s about 20 years ago. If you never heard of Harvey’s, it’s a fast food place in Canada. It tasted absolutely amazing, and I decided from then on I would rather eat a veggie burger over a regular beef burger any day. You can hardly notice any difference at all, but I feel good knowing I’m eating a very healthy meal that has zero animal fat in it.
The same goes for these vegetarian/vegan burgers I’m going to talk about. All 3 brands taste very similar to Harvey’s veggie burgers that I used to eat. Only now, I can bbq it on my own and eat it anytime I want. It’s way cheaper because you save money without going to a fast-food joint to buy one for $10.
Veggie Burgers are burger patties that do not contain meat and are made from beans, especially soybeans and tofu, nuts, grains, seeds, or fungi such as mushrooms or mycoprotein.
They are best kept in the freezer.
So, feel free to bbq them any time of the year and enjoy!
Here are 3 of my favorite brands of meatless burgers I absolutely love!
1. PC World’s Best Meatless Burger
PC Veggie Burgers are Canadian-made and taste like regular beef burger patty but without animal fat droppings. Just bbq it like a regular burger, put on your favorite toppings and enjoy!
If you are allergic to certain ingredients such as wheat or soy, they may not be best suited for you. Most homemade burgers also contain breading, so it’s always important to know what ingredients they contain before you consume them.
NOTE – This specific brand of PC meatless burgers does contain modified milk ingredients. If you’re looking for a 100% plant-based burger, then I recommend you try the next two options I’ve listed below instead.
You can find them at many Canadian grocery stores that sell PC Brand Products such as Loblaws, Zehrs, Superstore, No Frills, and Independent Grocer.
What are PC Meatless Burgers made of?
- Modified Milk Ingredients
- Soy Protein
- Canola Oil
- B Vitamins
- Selected Seasonings.
2. Beyond Meat
Beyond Meat is a Los Angeles-based producer of plant-based meat substitutes founded in 2009.
You can find Beyond Meat at most large retailers in Canada and the USA, such as Target, Walmart, Costco, Ingles, Safeway, Giant, Sprouts, Publix, or fast-food restaurants A&W, Dunkin, Del Taco, Veggiegrill, TGI Fridays, Bareburger.
If you live in the USA, You can also purchase the Beyond Meat Burger online at instacart.com. You can get 8, 4-ounce patties for approximately $12 to $16 and have them delivered right to your door for free.
I’ve only eaten Beyond Meat Burgers from A&W in Canada, and it tasted delicious. I haven’t seen it in any of the grocery stores I’ve gone into. However, I would definitely buy it from the grocery store and make my own version. Rather than having someone else do it for me, I’d prefer to put my own favorite toppings on it.
What is Beyond Meat made of?
- Pea Protein
- Canola Oil
- Coconut Oil
- Rice Protein
- Cocoa Butter
- Bean protein
- Potato Starch
- Apple Extract
- Lemon Juice
- Sunflower Lecithin
- Beet Juice Extract
If you live in Canada and cannot find Beyond Meatless Burgers anywhere where you live, there’s another very similar and tasty option you can have delivered right to your front door.
The Very Good Butchers is my #1 go-to online plant-based meat store.
3. The Very Good Butchers
One of my Vegan friends introduced The Very Good Butchers to me about 1 year ago.
She sent me home with a few different plant-based types of meat to try from The Very Good Butchers, and I absolutely loved them. Not only did I try their Meatless Burger, but I also tried the Pepperoni, Sausage, Taco Meat, and BBQ Ribs.
To be honest, I wasn’t a fan of their Sausage. But that’s only because I never liked to eat regular meat sausage in the first place, and The Very Good Butchers Sausage tastes exactly the same.
I am a forever fan of The Very Good Butchers meatless products.
The Veggie Burgers and BBQ Ribs are very easy to bbq, and the taco meat only took a couple of minutes to cook on the stove.
You could even put the taco meat right into my favorite bean taco dip for friends and they probably wouldn’t even know it was vegan meat. Vegan or not, everyone absolutely love this dish! I get requests all the time to make it, so I know you will love it too!
